My friend Giovanni, decided to write this book of journey and italian kitchen during first quarantene, we meet in Formentera long time ago, during one of his meeting of friend and food. Him asked me to transform his stories in drawing, i immediately thought of totems. In Native American culture, a totem is a group of simbols that tell histories of a group of people, you read it from low to top, and each one is a part of life or a journey.
